Healthy Way Stroganoff

Whole wheat noodles or Brown Rice makes this recipe lower in carbs and sugars and throw off blood sugar levels along with the protein… the perfect combination for weight loss and treatment of diabetes. Makes 6 servings 1 serving = 3 oz. protein and 1 starch (if noodle or rice are used)
- 1 lb. ground white turkey breast
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1 cup mushroom, sliced
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp Creole spice
- ½ tsp pepper
- 8 oz. Mori-Nu Silken tofu, blended smooth
- ¼ cup Healthy Way BBQ sauce
- 2 Tbsp mustard
In a pan prayed with nonstick oil spray combine ground poultry, onion, mushrooms, and seasonings and cook until meat is tender and vegetables are done, stirring twice. Stir in mustard and BBQ sauce. Add blended tofu to poultry mixture and cook 3 minutes until bubbly, stirring twice. Continue to simmer until meat is cooked through. You can place Stroganoff over cooked whole wheat noodles or brown rice.
