Low Calorie French Soda


Summer is almost here. Our days have been warming up. Here is a recipe to sip on while enjoying the beauty that is awakening around us. So kick off your shoes, watch the bees and enjoy this low calorie beverage.

French sodas are the creamy versions of Italian sodas. Traditionally you would add heavy cream, but we know better then that. This recipe allows for you to enjoy the creamy texture without all the calories.

Serves 4 1= 1/2 fat

2 cups fizzy water (time to invest in a Soda Stream) La Croix has a wonderful lime carbonated water

1 tsp vanilla stevia, or flavor of choice

1/4 cup unsweetened coconut milk


1 small can full fat coconut milk, chilled before whipping (be mindful of how much you use. Since it is being whipped there will be volume, so this will lower the calories for the serving size)

How to: Mix together the fizzy water, flavor of your choice, unsweetened coconut milk. Pour into your favorite glasses (as seen above), and top with 1 tbsp. of coconut cream and other desired garnishes. (2 Tbsp. = 1 fat)
